Introducing a collaboration between acclaimed quilter & natural dyer Maura Ambrose of Folk Fibers and bag maker Alice Saunders of Forestbound.
The textiles used for this collection have been naturally dyed and quilted by Maura at her home in Texas. She then sent them off to Alice in Massachusetts who has thoughtfully transformed them into a series of one of a kind tote bags.
Tote Bag No. 7 from the series is made with linen dyed with logwood (faded purple/grey tones), osage (yellow tones), and pecan (light tan tones).
Fully lined with beige cotton canvas, this bag features a large interior pocket (9" x 11") that will comfortably hold a wallet and phone, toiletries, notebook etc. Leather boot and handles are made from beautiful, top grain cow hide. This leather is tough enough to last a life time, but soft and supple enough for comfort.
Bag measures approximately - 20" wide, 15" tall, 7" deep. Strap drop - 9"
Folk Fibers x Forestbound logo has been hand printed on the interior pocket.
Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound Bag. Proudly made in the USA.
