Pieces of denim and canvas salvaged from WWII era US Navy barracks bags & USMC duffel bags have been carefully reworked into a sturdy, every day carryall. Features a zip top closure made from a vintage mauve colored metal zipper. Also features an outside denim pocket with a hand printed Forestbound logo tag.
The fabric used to construct this bag approximately 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with black cotton canvas, this medium bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. One outer pocket as well as two large inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.
Closes with a vintage mauve colored metal zipper.
Shoulder straps made from 4oz brown cowhide.
Bag measures approximately 15.5 in wide (zipper opening 12.5" wide), 15 in tall, 5 in deep.
Strap drop approximately 9.5 in.
Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
