WWII era Ticking Fabric Zip-Top Carryall - SOLD

Durable, worn-in ticking fabric salvaged from a WWII era Medical Department pillow case has been reworked into a large zip-top carryall.

The material used to construct this bag is over 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Printing from the original canvas has been incorporated into this bag to highlight the unique character and history of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with olive colored cotton, this zip-top carryall can easily hold everything you need during your day or for a weekend away - a notebook, iPad, change of clothes, etc. Two good-sized inside pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Closes with a vintage brass zipper.

Shoulder straps and bottom reinforcement made from super durable oil-tanned cowhide.

Measures approximately 19in wide, 14in tall, 6in deep.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
