Durable, worn-in canvas salvaged from a WWII era US military laundry bag has been paired with 1940's era French ticking fabric and turned into a roomy, zip-top weekend bag.
The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with tan and beige striped cotton, this large ziptop carryall can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Three good-sized interior pockets as well as two outer pocket can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.
Bag measures approximately 18.5in wide, 15 in tall, 5 in deep.
Wrap around handles made from recycled military issue cotton webbing.
Adjustable, removable shoulder strap made from recycled military issue cotton webbing and sturdy brass hardware.
Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
