It's been a long time coming... meet our first cross body bag! Our new Saddle Bag pays tribute to the handmade leather bags of the 1970's; a timeless design that only gets better with age and use. 

The Forestbound saddle bag is completely hand laced and without hardware. Our belt closure keeps the bag tightly shut and secure while you're on the go. This bag is the perfect size for your everyday carries - phone, wallet, notebook, chapstick etc. 

Measures approximately 7.5" wide, 7" tall, 3.5" deep. Shoulder strap measures 43" in total length.

Every Saddle Bag comes with a complimentary chain stitched monogram dust bag. We will use the two initials that come through with your order (first and last name) unless otherwise indicated by you on your order.

Natural vegetable tanned leather is untreated and will age beautifully as you start to use it. Veg tan leather patinas with time and exposure to the sun - it starts as a pale pink but will eventually turn into a gorgeous light honey brown color. The third photo shows how our natural veg tan bags will age and patina after approximately 4 weeks of use. 

Veg tan leather is coveted by many because it wears in differently for each person, is a reflection of how they move through the world, and truly becomes a one of a kind piece. 

Our personal recommendation is to use your bag for a few weeks before you condition it for the first time since a few weeks of wear will show some subtle aging. However, if you strongly prefer a bag that is completely free of any marks or scuffs we recommend conditioning before use. 

Leather conditioner will protect the bag from stains, water damage, and will keep the leather supple.
