Early 1900's era woven carrying basket featuring leather and metal hardware for a strap. The woven rope seen on the basket is most likely not the original strap, but a replacement that has clearly held up for many decades. The shape and hardware of this basket is unique! I have never come across one before. Use as decor or use as your own foraging or harvest basket.

In great vintage condition, especially given its age. Some areas of wear and discoloration from age and use (as shown in photos).
