Mid 19th Century Indigo Dyed Cotton Boro Carryall

Beautiful Japanese indigo dyed cotton boro cloth from the mid 19th century has been very carefully and thoughtfully reworked into a perfect every day carryall. This fabric is truly something special .. the hand stitching details are out of this world.

The material used to construct this bag is over 150 years old but still in the most wonderful condition.  Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with brown cotton canvas, this large bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Two exterior pockets on either side of the bag as well as three inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Shoulder straps and bottom boot made from soft, 4oz brown cowhide.

Bag measures approximately 18 in wide, 14 in tall, 7 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 10 in.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
