1950's era Mail Bag Weekender

Sturdy, khaki colored canvas salvaged from a 1950's era Japanese mail bag has been transformed into a sturdy weekend bag.

The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with brown cotton canvas, this large bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. One large exterior pocket as well as two large inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Shoulder straps, bottom boot and buckle closure made from soft, 4oz brown cowhide.

Comes with an adjustable, removable leather shoulder strap.

Bag measures approximately 17 in wide, 12.5 in tall, 6 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 8 in.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
