1940's era Striped Canvas Weekend Bag

Sturdy, worn-in striped canvas salvaged from a 1940's era mattress cover (waterproof!) has been turned into a perfect weekend bag.

The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with olive colored cotton canvas, this large tote bag can easily hold everything you need during the day. Three large interior pockets can comfortably fit a ipod, phone, etc.

Handles, bottom reinforcement, and an adjustable removable shoulder strap made from supple 4oz cowhide.

Closes with a leather and stud rivet closure.

Bag measures approximately 18 in wide, 14 in tall, 7 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 9 in.
