With origins dating back to the 18th century, Mexican nicho boxes have been used for centuries as a way to pay tribute to a loved one or a special memento. This form of Mexican folk art traditionally uses a humble material such as tin to create a beautiful yet practical object that can be hung on the wall and used to display sentimental items.
Personally, I use nicho boxes to hold small personal photos or trinkets and as a place to display a flower currently blooming in my garden.
Nicho boxes measure approximately 7" tall, 5" wide, 1" deep.
