WWII era Convertible Canvas Tote Bag

Sturdy canvas in various shades of olive green all salvaged from WWII era US military duffel bags have been carefully combined and reworked into a great every day tote bag. This bag is special in the way that the side panels can snap together, making the bag more compact .. a great way to either take the bag on the go, or just decrease the size when you're wanting something a bit smaller.

The fabric used to construct this bag approximately 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with brown cotton canvas, this large bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. One large outer pocket as well as two inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Straps made from soft, 10oz brown cowhide.

Bag measures approximately 20 in wide when unsnapped, 11" wide when snapped, 13 in tall, 10 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 8 in.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
