We uncovered this incredible 1920's era fireman's banner a number of years ago and are so excited to finally be turning it into a series of bags for you to enjoy.
This beautiful textile was carefully taken apart and each individual red letter has been reworked so that it's prominently featured on the front of the carryall. The remainder of the bag is made from sturdy beige canvas salvaged from a 1930's era Massachusetts state flag.
The material used to construct this bag is over 90 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with brown cotton canvas, this large bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Three good sized inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.
Shoulder straps and bottom boot made from soft, 4oz brown cowhide.
Bag measures approximately 17 in wide, 14 in tall, 5 in deep.
Strap drop approximately 11.5 in.
Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
