1940's era US Mail Canvas Tote Bag

Sturdy, worn-in canvas salvaged from a hand lettered 1940's era postal bag has been paired with WWII era US Navy sea bag canvas and turned into a perfect everyday tote bag.

The material used to construct this bag is over 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition.  Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with brown cotton canvas, this large bag can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Two large outer pockets as well as two large inner pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Shoulder straps made from soft, 10oz medium brown cowhide.

Bag measures approximately 20 in wide, 13 in tall, 6 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 10 in.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
