WWII era Military Canvas Weekend Bag

Sturdy, worn-in olive green canvas salvaged from a WWII era aviator's kit bag has been reworked into a spacious weekend bag.

The material used to construct this bag is over 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Printing and stitching from the original canvas (featuring a star of david on one side) has been incorporated into this bag to highlight the unique nature of the materials. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with olive colored cotton, this large carryall can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Three large interior pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Shoulder straps and bottom reinforcement made from soft, 4oz brown cowhide.

Includes a leather adjustable, removable shoulder strap with sturdy brass hardware.

Bag measures approximately 18.5 in wide, 15 in tall, 5 in deep.

Strap drop approximately 5 in.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
